Next Phase Femtech

Turning promising solutions into evidence that workplaces can use

MeWe&You Health is one of three femtech companies whose solutions have been selected for Next Phase Femtech – a three-year Danish-Swedish collaboration developing, testing and validating new solutions for women’s health in real-world environments.

The project has a particular focus on menopause and working life. Menopause-related symptoms can affect sleep, energy, concentration, wellbeing and the ability to work. Yet we still know too little about what happens at the intersection of symptoms and working conditions – or which forms of workplace support make a meaningful difference.

MeWe&You’s role

Through Next Phase Femtech, MeWe&You’s digital support and workplace platform will be further developed, tested and validated in real workplaces in Sweden and Denmark.

MeWe&You combines personalised support for women with privacy-first, aggregated insights for organisations. The aim is to help employers understand where symptoms and working conditions intersect, develop more relevant support and protect work ability before problems escalate.

The work will be carried out in collaboration with researchers, public-sector employers and innovation partners. The solutions will be tested in Region Zealand, Region Skåne and Tomelilla Municipality.

What the project aims to achieve

Through the project, we aim to contribute to:

• stronger evidence on how digital menopause support performs in real workplaces

• a better understanding of the relationship between symptoms, working conditions and work ability

• more relevant and privacy-conscious employer interventions

• knowledge that helps organisations act earlier and more responsibly

• a scalable solution that supports women’s wellbeing and ability to remain in work

Results and key learnings will be shared throughout the project.

About Next Phase Femtech

Next Phase Femtech runs from 1 July 2026 to 30 June 2029. It is led by the Research Unit at Zealand University Hospital and brings together partners from Sweden and Denmark.

The project will also support the market development of up to 30 women’s health companies and test three market-ready menopause solutions in real-world workplaces.
