Technical Co-founder / AI Product Lead – Sweden-based Femtech Startup

Shape the next phase of women’s health at work

Initially fractional / equity-based, with potential to grow into a long-term role.

About the role

Something is missing in how women’s health in midlife is understood and supported at work.

MeWe&You® is already live as a consumer app, supporting women through menopause with personalised, daily guidance.

We are now developing the next phase: expanding from individual support into workplace-focused solutions for women’s health in midlife.

This is where we need the right technical person — someone who can help shape the product, data and AI direction from an early stage.

Where we are today

This is not idea-stage.

We already have:

  • a live product in market

  • real users and product learnings

  • a clear direction into B2B

  • ongoing discussions around pilots, collaborations and funding

  • a founder deeply embedded in the problem space

The next 6–12 months are critical. We are moving from insight and concept into something organisations can actually use.

Commercial logic

This is not only a women’s health problem. It is also a business problem.

Women’s health in midlife is still largely missing from workplace wellbeing and performance strategies — despite affecting a highly experienced part of the workforce.

When experienced employees reduce capacity, leave, or cannot perform at their best, it affects productivity, continuity and profitability.

That gap creates a clear commercial opportunity for a serious, trusted and well-built workplace solution.

What you’ll do

You will take the first real technical lead on our workplace-focused direction.

That means:

  • shaping and building early versions of the product

  • defining the technical direction for data, architecture and AI usage

  • turning complex, real-world inputs into structured, useful product decisions

  • helping decide what should be built first — and what should not

  • working hands-on across product and technology

  • contributing to investor, partner and pilot discussions from a technical perspective

This is a building role, not a management layer.

We believe this needs to be built with an AI-first mindset — not as a feature added later, but as part of the core product logic. What that means in practice is still evolving, and the right person will help shape it.

What we’re looking for

We are looking for a senior, hands-on technical profile who can operate in early-stage ambiguity.

You likely have:

  • strong full-stack capability, or deep technical expertise combined with a pragmatic product mindset

  • experience building 0→1 products, not only scaling existing systems

  • practical understanding of data, architecture and AI/ML in real product environments

  • ability to work with messy, human, real-world complexity — not just clean datasets

  • strong product intuition and judgment

  • comfort making decisions with incomplete information

  • interest in women’s health, work, privacy, AI and behaviour change

This is not a pure advisory, business or strategy role. You will be expected to build.

What this role is

  • early-stage and evolving

  • initially fractional / flexible

  • equity-based to start

  • close to product, strategy and founder decisions

  • potentially long-term if the collaboration works

What this role is not

  • a standard salaried engineering job from day one

  • a large team environment

  • a fully specified roadmap

  • a role where you simply execute someone else’s technical plan

Why this might be interesting

Because this is not just a tech problem.

It sits at the intersection of women’s health, work, product, privacy, AI and organisational change.

This is a complex and underdeveloped space, with strong relevance for both individuals and organisations. The right person will help shape how the product, technology and data strategy evolve from here.

Practicalities

  • Based in Sweden, ideally Stockholm or able to meet regularly in Stockholm

  • Legal right to work in Sweden without visa sponsorship

  • Swedish language skills are a strong advantage

  • English language skills are a must

  • Strong understanding of Swedish/Nordic workplace culture is highly valued

  • Flexible start, with potential to grow into a long-term role

How to apply

Apply via email or LinkedIn with a short note about why this role interests you and what you have built before.

We are not looking for perfect CVs.

We are looking for someone who wants to help build something that does not exist yet.
